INTRODUCTION

When I was a very young girl, my grand-mother (a gorgeous and extremely feminine woman) repeated to me that when hardblows came or when one was down in the dumps, you should never let yourself go physically...
Her miracle solution:
go at top speed to her hairdresser, have her hair blow-dried, and doll herself up. She was taking care of herself from head to toe, and dressed up as if she was going to a party!

It was a small piece of advice but ever since I have followed the exemple: even when everything is alright I take a little bit of time everyday to take care of my toilette and to please myself. It's very important to be beautiful to yourself!

There are many possibilities to appreciate yourself. When you look your best physically it helps, that's the reason why we must learn to spend time in our bathroom, even if it doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the times...
You can succeed with a little power will, pleasure and some self- esteem.
The problem of self-love when you're young is complicated, because before having self-esteem you most often have to go through pain. You need courage to accept who you really are (most of the time we refuse to open our eyes and to look at ourselves).

To love the great person you truly are, you must look your best in terms of the idea you have of yourself but, above all, you must work to find and appreciate your spiritual self as well. From that moment on, there will be harmony between the mind and the body automatically. It's very difficult to dissociate these two aspects: a human being is both made up by the exterior appearence and a secret, non physical aspect...

... The osmosis, even without any connection between them at first, and the complete acceptation of the human being are the steps towards wich we should direct ourselves. We will then be on the way to consider the aesthetic possibilities offered to women to look their best, keep themselves in good shape and be resistant in adversity, as my grand-mother did.
